What bliss to escape the horrible horrible heat this weekend with a city escape to the air conditioned refurbished rooms of The Old Clare. A cot was assembled, the rooftop pool was temperate, the Din Tai Fung dumplings were ordered in. Our little trio of a family holed up reading magazines, squeezing in afternoon naps and never having to brave the heat wave.
