Kate was former managing editor at delicious. on Sunday, was digital editor at delicious, a regular contributor to Sunday Style magazine, Good Food in The Sydney Morning Herald and Sunday Life. Her work has featured regularly in The Sydney Morning Herald, The Wall Street Journal, Sunday Style magazine, Sunday Life in The Sun Herald, Australian Gourmet Traveller, US-based AFAR magazine, The London Evening Standard, among others.
Kate edited and reviewed for the 2017 delicious. 100, and previously co-authored The Foodies Guide to Sydney in 2011, 2012, 2013, and was a major contributor to SMH Good Food under $30 and the SMH Good Cafe Guide for six years. She was anthologised in the collection Voracious: Australia’s Best Australian Food Writing with the essay Future Food. She has won awards for her writing, including a National Press Club journalism award.
Kate was named one of Australia’s Top 100 most inspiring women in the June 2013 issue of Madison magazine in the area of Health.
She is an ambassador for Earth Hour.
